The 77 Foundation Teams with The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
May 24, 2022: The 77 Foundation Teams with The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
The 77 Foundation is pleased to announce that we have teamed with the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation for their ‘Heroes Tribute Scholarship Program for Children of the Fallen.” The Heroes Tribute Scholarship Program for Children of the Fallen guarantees scholarships of $30,000 over four years ($7,500 per year) to children of fallen Marines and Navy Corpsmen attached to Marine units. The first ever ’77 Scholars’ will benefit from this program, and we couldn’t be more proud to be associated with such a program.
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is a privately funded, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides academic scholarships to children of United States Marines and Navy Corpsmen. The Scholarship Foundation is the Nation’s oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarship to military children. Their funding is provided by private supporters, including individuals, corporations, and other nonprofit foundations. The organization’s mission is to “Honor Marines by Educating Their Children.” You can read more about their organization here: https://www.mcsf.org.
“Having grown up with my Father in the Navy and my Grandfather in the Marines, working with the MCSF was a perfect match. Their values and mission align with ours and having ’77 Scholars’ associated with the MCSF is a big step for our organization. We look forward to working with the MCSF for years to come.” – CEO James Kelly Jr.
